Artiste mauricien et photographe depuis 2009, je collabore avec des architectes, des décorateurs d'intérieur et des agences éditoriales. Je suis actuellement en formation continue en éco-construction et en agroécologie, porté par la conviction que l'art peut être un puissant vecteur de changement.
Ma curiosité naturelle pour la sociologie, la science, la spiritualité et la philosophie alimente mon exploration de ces thématiques à travers mon art. Je questionne les notions d’identité, d’appartenance, d’existence humaine, ainsi que notre impact sur les écosystèmes. Dans mes travaux, j’aspire à susciter la contemplation et la réflexion, tout en provoquant un sentiment d’ambiguïté et d’introspection.
J’aime créer des œuvres qui peuvent apaiser les émotions ou remettre en question nos croyances, nos perceptions et notre compréhension de la réalité. La photographie me permet d’explorer le monde extérieur ; la peinture, le dessin et les mots m’aident à façonner, à écrire et à décrire mon paysage intérieur. As a Mauritian artist and photographer since 2009, I collaborate with architects, interior designers, and editorial agencies. I am currently pursuing ongoing training in natural building and agroecology, driven by the belief that art can be a powerful vector for change.
My natural curiosity about sociology, science, spirituality, and philosophy fuels my exploration of these themes through my art. I question notions of identity, belonging, human existence, and our impact on ecosystems. In my work, I aspire to evoke contemplation and reflection while provoking a sense of ambiguity and introspection.
I enjoy creating pieces that can soothe emotions or challenge our beliefs, perceptions, and understanding of reality. Photography allows me to explore the outside world; painting, drawing, and words help me shape, write about, and describe my inner landscape.
