AgroEcoMoris

AgroEcoMoris began as a personal journey—a way for me to explore and understand the alternatives to conventional agriculture here in Mauritius. Driven by curiosity and a desire for authentic answers, I started documenting the stories, faces, and landscapes behind sustainable and regenerative practices. What started as a search for meaning in my own life has grown into an artistic and photodocumentary project, capturing the work of real change-makers: the pioneers, innovators, and everyday people reimagining our food systems and relationship with the land.Through my lens, I aim to give visibility to these actors and their initiatives. My ambition is not only to tell their stories, but to lay the foundation for a platform where knowledge, support, and inspiration can be shared. I am now seeking to connect with other passionate individuals, partners, and practitioners who want to help shape AgroEcoMoris into a genuine network for mutual aid and collective resilience. If you share this vision or are simply curious, I invite you to join me on this evolving journey.

Otentic Montagne
Otentic Montagne was an eco-lodge nestled in the south-east of Mauritius, where I had my first WWOOFing experience in 2017. This unique retreat blends sustainability with natural beauty, offering an immersive experience in eco-friendly living. Surrounded by lush mountains and rich biodiversity, Otentic Montagne provides a perfect setting for learning about sustainable practices while connecting with nature. My time there was a formative journey into the world of organic farming and environmental stewardship, deeply influencing my path in agroecology and sustainable living

Smart Agri
"The Smart Agriculture project aims at accompanying the Mauritian agro-ecological transition. The main goal is to promote a well-reasoned mode of production which will allow the general agriculture in Mauritius, to move towards more sustainable and resilient systems in the face of climate change." Through my photography, I've documented the Smart Agriculture project in Mauritius, focusing on the work happening in the fields. My images capture workers engaged in sustainable farming practices, highlighting their efforts and the project's impact on optimizing input management and reducing agricultural residues. Each photograph illustrates the harmony between nature and farming practices, showcasing how these methods meet consumer demands for healthier products while supporting farmers' productivity and economic success.
